Training Barge Kits

Safely and effectively coach your novice rowers with a training barge setup. This kit connects any two similar Pocock Eights with a center platform. Now as a coach you can put your beginner athletes on the water, and still be able to help them make adjustments as they learn the rowing stroke.

The Barge Kit is easy to assemble and use – aluminum beams bolt on at the rigger locations to join the two boats. Plywood boards run down the center to make a platform. It’s equally fast and simple to disassemble when you’re ready to row the two eights separately. The Barge Kit is designed specifically to not put undue stress on them.
